...is totally different from seeing it in pictures. Today I had the best tacos al pastor I've had in years, went to a few book stores, and hung out in front of El Palacio de Bellas Artes. More of the same tomorrow.
Dang baby! I didn't know you were in Mexico!!! Isn't it cool? The last time I was there was 2006 during the protests after Felipe Calderon's election and all the AMLO supporters were camped out on the Paseo de la Reforma and I bought some campaign paraphernalia from them. Hey, while you're their, can you pick up a copy of "Sumaria relacion de las cosas de la Nueva Espana" for me? Also, if you wanted to, you could go visit my cousins (for lack of a better term) in Iztapalapa. Enjoy yourself, you lucky stiff...
Tacos al pastor from Mexico City...aaaahhhh!!!!! You have to try a place that does tacos campechanos, which have sliced beef tongue and linguiza. Yum!!!!!
